5th Gup Green Test Form
5th Gup Green Belt Blue Stripe Requirements

All 5th Gup Green students are required to pass
off Patterns, Step Sparring, Self Defense and Breaking before permission is given to test. Click here for Pass Off Guidelines.
Time:
- Minimum 3 months
active training (at
least 2 classes per week)
- Minimum 24 classes attended
Kicks:
- Hook Kick (Lead and Rear Leg)
- Reverse Hook Kick
- Skip Hook Kick
- Side Pushing Kick
- Side thrusting
Kick
- Flying Side Kick
- Multiple Kicking, 2 Kicks Consecutive or Combination
Patterns:
- Yul-Gok
- Won-Hyo
- Do-San
- Dan-Gun
- Chon-Ji
Step Sparring:
Self-Defense:
Breaking:
- Hook Kick or Flying Side Kick
- Outward Knifehand Strike (conditions apply)
- A student may choose their own break, but it must be approved of by the Instructor no less than 2 weeks prior
to testing.
Tournament
Competition:
- A student must participate in at least TWO tournaments
between 6th Gup Green and testing for 4th Gup Blue.

Students should be keeping a notebook which must be presented in order to test for I Dan Black Belts.
